MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN, CA -- Mammoth Mountain Bike Park is proud to welcome back team athlete Aaron Gwin to the trails August 15-17, 2013 for his second annual Skills Camp. This two-day, two-night camp gives the intermediate to advanced downhill mountain biker a chance to learn the art of two-wheel speed from the defending UCI World Cup Overall Champion. Joining Aaron on the coaching side will be members of the ODI Development Team and Mammoth Bike Park Guides.
Gwin has been racing professional since 2008 and already has an impressive career. He won the title of 2011/2012 World Cup Champion and is a three time US National Champion. In 2011, Gwin set a record for 5 World Cup wins in a single season, and he is the defending two-time Overall World Cup Downhill Champion. 2013 will be his 6th year racing downhill bikes.
The camp is geared toward intermediate to advanced level downhill mountain bikers. Participants will have the opportunity to experience the day-to-day life of a professional downhill bike rider including top
level skill instruction, a photo shoot, and all-access riding to Mammoth Mountain’s Bike Park with Gwin.
