Dual racing is back in the Northeast for 2012! The Gravity East Series (GES) and Launch Bike Park at Spring Mountain Ski Area will be partnering to build a dual slalom course and host a series for the 2012 race season. This is a separate series from the Gravity East Downhill Series.
The course will be designed and built by Patricio Mercado, Jason Beckley and the Launch Bike Park and GES crews. Construction will commence in early spring 2012, weather permitting, with the first race to be held upon completion. A tentative schedule will be released later this winter.




“We are very excited to be a part of bringing back a dual series to the Northeast in 2012,” stated Dieter Ward, Gravity East Series Vice President and Dual series director. “The course is being designed and built for all skill levels, from beginner to pro categories, and will incorporate both mountain bike and BMX features. Launch Bike Park’s close proximity to Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey makes it easily accessible to a large number of riders. The course will be an integral part of the Launch Bike Park trail system and will always be available to ride.”
