We’d love to romanticize the description of decline magazine co-founder, Scott Hart, but let’s be honest: The guy is a complete hillbilly. Hailing from the corn-bred state of Indiana, Scott’s idea of “good fun” consists of an afternoon drinking Dr. Peppers, ridin’ quads (fourwheelers or ATV’s to the layperson) and listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Scott’s intellect, although limited, is very precise. In other words, he don’t know much, but what he does know – he claims to know a lot of. Basically, if you ask him about any current events, such as what he thought about President Bush, he’d look at you with a blank stare. But if you were to engage in a conversation about monster trucks, he could go on for days about how the original Bigfoot is far superior to today’s dominant Grave Digger.

Unfortunately for us, mountain bikes tend to fall into Scott’s redneck interests. Scott is the current editorial director of decline magazine and he is the purveyor of all things lifestyle and action-oriented in its pages.
