Tara Llanes

Small in stature but big on style, Tara Llanes has certainly made her mark in the sport of mountain biking. Tara has proven that she is capable of performing at the top level of racing while maintaining her status as a sex symbol in the industry. Within the confines of the gnarly and dirty boundaries of mountain bike racing, Miss Llanes has challenged the concept of female athleticism. In 2003, Tara overcame a series of multiple injuries and the subsequent long recovery periods, challenging herself to come back better, faster, and stronger. The last few years Tara fired on all cylinders; smiling and looking cute…while schooling you at the dirt jumps and mountaincross. With a 2004 NORBA National Championship Title and 2004 Bronze World Championship medal dangling around her neck, she's always a force to be reckoned with.
