Eric Schutt
After nine years of cutting his teeth at a bike shop, Eric Schutt got on board with SRAM in 1997. Eric was responsible for things like stickers, balloons and banners... but in 2006 he took on the task of MTB PR Manager.
Schutter is a fan of just about anything with wheels. In addition to mountain
biking, he enjoys karting and shredding his fleet of R/C cars. Back
in the day, Eric competed in the midwest mountain bike racing scene in dual
slalom and observed trials. He even served as the opening dog and pony show
for Hans Ray at the Chicago consumer bike show.

Favorite Trail: A few years back, I was lucky enough
to get a VIP run on Garbanzo the day before they opened it. Riding on
any new trail for the first time is super fun, but “first tracks” on
a trail like Garbanzo was extra tasty.
Likes: Camping with my wife Karen and daughter Megan,
snowboarding, wakeboarding and teaching bizarre tricks to my dog.
Dislikes: Dealing with commuters with “White Wire Sydrome." In
general, I'm into iPods, but I'm not a fan when people in my way
are tuned out.

Most Embarrassing Ride You've Owned: Renault LeCar (my first
car)
