Jamis Bicycles is proud to announce the re-signing of Team FMF Suzuki Off Road, for the third year running. Jamis is the official bicycle sponsor for the Team, including the GNCC, WORCs, and Development riders. Competition for spot on the US Junior Worlds Team Heats up at Plattekill!
Kevin Aiello takes the first qualifier for US Junior Worlds team selection. However, it was 15 year-old Neko Mulally that stole the show by taking first in the qualifier and then finishing second in the finals. Naish Mulmer took third.
With the World Championships moved up this year do the Olympics the race for a spot on the US team is tight. The first qualifier took place at Plattekill this weekend and had the most stacked junior ex field I ever seen. The usual suspects from the West were there, Kevin Aiello, Graeme Pitts, Joey Schulser and Naish Ulmer (1st through 4th at Sea Otter and 1st through 3rd at NMBS 1 in Fontana has well as some East coast talent and some of Darner's RPM Yeti boys.

Sam Hill Wins Pre-Worlds Test Event by 5.5 seconds
Val Di Sole, Italy, May 4, 2008 - The organizers did a brilliant job putting together this test event in the heart of the Val Di Sole region in Northern Italy, and the pleasant weather this weekend helped make the event a great success. The test event was a great way to prepare for World Championships for both the racers and the organizers. The Syndicate boys were pleased with the downhill track and feel it is worthy of a championship race.

The Tranny Battles the Dutch
SZCZAWNO ZDROJ, Poland, Sat. May 3, 2008 – So for those of you who didn't read Chuck Ibis's "spew" "Lopes goes to Poland with a Tranny", tranny is the hardtail prototype that Brian brought to compete in the invitational mountaincross night race held in southern Poland. And with the fastest qualifying time, Lopes and the "tranny" proved to be a winning team from the get go.
